Why advice can't be obtained elsewhere?*This Committee is required by the Energy and Independence Security Act (EISA), Section 494.
Why close or partially close meetings?Meetings will be open and would only be closed in accordance with the Government in the Sunshine Act.

GSA initiated a business case project with FEMP to identify federal healthy building, metrics, tools and pilots. as a direct response to Committee recommendations, as well as incorporating the Committee's work on this topic into the SF Tool Health page. PBS has been increasingly engaged with the Committee, promoting greater interaction, more grounded recommendations, and more clear opportunities for implementation (e.g., incorporation of Transportation EUI in PBS's Smart Location Calculator, participation on several Task Groups). Certain recommendations apply more to, or may be a better fit with, other agencies than GSA.
