Agency Feedback Comment*MCC Advisory Council members share their feedback and recommendations with MCC in several different ways - namely i) through written comments in advance of meetings about a specific country or set of challenges/opportunities in a Compact, ii) during meetings as part of an organic Q&A discussion among colleagues and MCC staff, and iii) via other written documents, such as the letter that the Council drafted in FY17 for the incoming leadership team. In all cases, the feedback is discussed in the next Council meeting, and MCC comments on the advice that has been used to improve Compact/Threshold development, implementation or other MCC priority. Surveys or polls are also occasionally administered to determine meeting dates and solicit feedback (e.g. satisfaction, meeting length, agenda format, guest speakers if any, subcommittees, etc.Narrative Description*The Advisory Council is an interdisciplinary group of advisors that provides MCC with a vehicle for receiving external feedback from the private sector. Members offer insight on innovations in infrastructure, technology and sustainability; perceived risks and opportunities in MCC partner countries; and new financing mechanisms for developing country contexts – all of which help MCC remain at the cutting edge of international development.
